Our Grand Lunar New Year celebration featured an exclusive menu from Executive Chef Daniel Le, featuring traditional celebratory cuisine and the unveiling of his new dragon-inspired whole fish. We indulged in alluring dragon cocktails, witnessed top-tier performers, played festive games for prizes, enjoyed an elegant Ao Dai fashion show from renowned designer, Thieu Vy and received blessings from the dragon dance.

The theme, “Nurturing Your Inner Garden” came about as Aida, Chelsea and I were moved by the simple power of connection – with oneself, with others, and within our world. I’ve also been reflecting deeply on NUE’s vision and it’s about empowering beautiful voices that often go unheard. Every dish, event and all of our stories serve this purpose- to celebrate, recognize and empower.
When two culinary worlds collide, magic happens. And that’s exactly what unfolded when NUE teamed up with the incomparable Chef Nikki Tran for our Phomakase event, a day that left us profoundly grateful and excited about what lies ahead.
